On sunny days, when families are out in force on the beach, we put our ‘Beach Toy Library’ out.
Whenever we find discarded beach toys when we’re cleaning the beach, we put them in the ‘library’.
This saves them from being washed out to sea, and means people don’t always need to buy new things (or remember to bring them!)
The toy bucket just sits outside the house, and anyone is welcome to borrow a bucket, a spade, or whatever we have in there.
If you’ve bought something that you don’t want to lug home, or you live locally and you’ve got buckets and spades you don’t use any more, pop them in the bucket and they can be enjoyed by someone else.
