Either side can cancel the stay at short notice if it’s a matter of public health.
If you need to cancel your stay
Before you arrive
Payment is due by 12 noon on the day of arrival and is refundable up until this point but not afterwards.
If you are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms, please do not come to stay. If you have symptoms, or were due to travel from an area with new restrictions imposed, you can cancel your booking and you will not be charged. We will do our best to accommodate different dates for you.
If you need to cancel for any other reason, you can still do so and not be charged. However, please consider that we are a small family business and we do ask that you give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel.
After you arrive
If you choose to cut your trip short after checking in, you will not get a refund other than in exceptional circumstances.
If we need to cancel your stay
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone your stay at short notice if:
All cleaning staff are showing symptoms of Covid-19, so we are not able to safely clean the space.
- We keep a rotation of staff to help avoid this.
A previous guest has shown symptoms of Covid-19 and we need extra time to clean.
- We will always inform you in any case of any guests that have been showing symptoms.
The Scottish Government announces lockdown rules meaning people shouldn’t travel or stay away from home.
- We will give you the first chance to book when we reopen if we need to do this.
There is physical damage to the property and it’s not a safe place to stay.
If you have any questions at all, please just ask.
