After shutting our doors completely for four months, we are reopening with extreme caution for the health of our guests and staff.

Cleaning regime

After completing the Landlord’s Little Helper Covid-19: Holiday let Cleaning Course, we have completely revamped our cleaning regime to include a variety of new measures, including:

  • Full Covid-19 risk assessment
  • Cleaning and sanitising all areas - with particular attention to commonly-touched areas
  • Steam cleaning fabric surfaces that cannot be washed
  • Protective clothing given to cleaning staff
  • Rotation of high risk items

If you have any specific questions or concerns about the way we clean, or would like to see our risk assessment in an alternative format, please get in touch.

Good to Go tourism mark

Having completed the risk assessment and all other necessary measures, we have been awarded the “We’re Good To Go” Industry Standard mark by Visit Britain.

Self check-in with no common areas

We’ve also changed the way that we rent out the space. We used to operate on a B&B basis with each room being separately bookable, but now we are only renting it out as a single private space.

You can still book for one bedroom only – the other room will be locked.

Although we will normally be around in the adjoining family home – and we used to love greeting guests in person –  we’ll now send you instructions on how to get in without us, and communicate with you by phone or text, unless it’s an emergency.

We're good to go checkmark award

Free cancellation

We offer completely free cancellation if you can’t travel because of concerns around Covid-19.

We do also reserve the right to cancel your booking if we deem it unsafe. We’ll make every effort not to do this, of course.

Local, ethical, sustainable

We are still commited to running a sustainable business that is a thriving part of the local community. We are constantly looking at ways to stay zero waste and sustainable while meeting our first priority of being Covid safe.
