One Kind Act 2019 – nominate someone for a free night

Do you know an individual, couple, or family who deserve a free night away on the Fife coast? (Wheelchair accessiible and dog friendly.)

We rarely like to jump on bandwagons, but love the idea of One Kind Act for St Andrew’s Day, as practicing kindness is important to us.
So we’re opening up the chance for you to nominate someone who you think deserves a free night away.

How it works

Email us by 7 December 2019, nominating an individual, a couple, or a family (as many children who will fit on a sofa bed!) who you think deserve a break.

Just let us know a name and a short line on why you think they deserve it (nothing too long).

Once we choose a winner is announced (we won’t announce their name unless they want us to) we’ll contact them asking when they want to book. They can come any night that there isn’t a booking in already (none of that ‘weekday only’ or ‘off-season only’ nonsense).

Nominating someone with disabilities?

The room is wheelchair accessible, but the wet room isn’t entirely – you can get to the door then navigate using grabrails. We’re very happy to show you the space before confirming a booking to a wheelchair user.

We’ve also got information for people with sensory issues like autism or dementia. (The local co-op has just been awarded dementi-friendly status, too).

Dog-friendly

Bring as many dogs as you like!

LGBT-friendly

We’re a queer-run business, and hate that we even have to say that it’s a safe, welcoming space for everyone in the LGBTQI+ spectrum.
